ARBOR Tech., a leading provider of embedded and networking computing, launched Em104P-i8523, PC/104 Plus module, featuring Intel Low Voltage Pentium M processor, high speed DDR SDRAM providing maximum capacity 1GB and Intel 852GM/ICH4 chipset. Em104P-i8523 has all the necessary features and expansion capability in compact dimensions and possesses high-performance data acquisition and control interfaces and advanced graphic capability, which makes it ideal for applications where space is limited but multiple I/O configurations are needed.
Compared to standard PC/104 module dimensions, Em104P-i8523 specially owns a pair of "wings" for more expansion options. Em104P-i8523 has PCI and ISA bus and all other standard interfaces (4 x USB 2.0, 2 x COM ports, 10/100 Ethernet, CRT, LCD, LPT, 2 x IDE). In addition, the on-chip video controller (Intel Extreme Graphics2 Engine) with up to 64 MB of video memory (UMA) can drive dual independent display at high resolution. Em104P-i8523 offers fully integrated PC functionality with low power consumption, which allows it to operate reliably in harsh environments.
