Press Release
ARBOR Wide-temperature Extreme Rugged Fanless Embedded Controller
Date: 6/22/2010
ARBOR technology, embedded industrial manufacturer, has launched extreme rugged embedded controller Rigid-732, which features temperature tolerance range between -40 and 70°C that also extends application variously. Rigid-732 is built with Intel GM45/ ICH9M chipset and supports the Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 processor, which presents its high performance and reliability. Rigid-732 offers fundamental I/O interface and expansion bus, including Gigabit Ethernet, RGB, DVI, TV-out, 6 USB ports, mini-card slot and 2 PCI slots. It also supports system memory DDR2 SO-DIMM up to 4GB and wide range DC power input from 10 to 28V.
Rigid-732 aims at industrial control application, any crash could cause system failure so the reliability and stability are significant factors and highly required. The rugged design of Rigid-732 not only qualifies with CE and FCC certification but also passes anti-vibration (3G), anti-shock (60G) and anti-crash (80G) test. According to above features, Rigid-732 is suitable for applications including industrial automation, transportation control system, digital signage, toll station, ticket machine, car PC and Kiosk.
In addition, Rigid-732 is designed as a fanless controller. Adopting aluminum construction designed with fins enables Rigid-732 to enhance heat dissipation efficiency. The wide-range operating temperature feature also fits harsh condition. For example, it can be easily installed with equipment in areas such as oil drilling, snow removal vehicle and energy control. Rigid-732 is an ideal fit for industrial applications, and customers will benefit from these outstanding features.
