ISO-9001 Certified Quality System

Arbor Technology is a company with an ISO 9001 Quality system.

The ISO 9001 quality standards cover our company's design, development, manufacturing, and sales and servicing operations.

To become ISO 9001 certified, Arbor initiated, developed, and implemented a thorough design, development, and production system that conforms to the strict requirements of the ISO 9001 standards. Arbor has been fundamentally committed to strict quality management since the company's inception, ensuring that it's products and services are of consistently high quality.

A Internationally Recognized Standard

Adopted in 1987 by the International Organization for Standardization in Geneva, Switzerland, the ISO quality system was developed in order to establish an internationally recognized standard of quality. The ISO 9001 classification is specifically designated for companies like Arbor, which design and manufacture products.

Quality Assurance and Quality Control

QualityArbor's Mission Statement is internally referred to as TSQ-111 which stands for: 1st in Technical Expertise, 1st in Service and Support and 1st in Quality.

TSQ-111 ultimately represents Arbor’s desire to provide the greatest benefits available to our customers. Arbor is committed to be a leading provider of solutions and systems and wishes to continuously exceed its customers' expectations.

Arbor's Quality Assurance Management (QAM) encompasses three stages: Design Quality Assurance (DQA), Manufacturing Quality Assurance (MQA) and Service Quality Assurance (SQA).

Design Maturing Test (DMT)

  • MTBF calculation (using BQR CARE system).
  • Rugged testing, complies with international standards reference: IEC and MIL standard.
  • EMC and Safety certificated (CE/FCC/UL...).
  • Component approval process (incl. power supply testing).

Manufacturing Quality Assurance (MQA)

ARBOR complies with IPC610, AQL-STD standards. ARBOR organizes SQC, PE and PMC into a contractor management committee and follows each contracting process step including: contractor review, production process evaluation, static burn-in, function testing, visual inspection, material control system, etc. Also, extended static and dynamic burn-in testing procedures are implemented to detect potential screen quality problems.

Service Quality Assurance (SQA)

The ARBOR FAE team guides your project, from the initial design stage to the final field deployment, thereby ensuring your business success. The knowledge ranges from hardware, BIOS and device driver level, into the realms of deep embedding. With an efficient RMA policy, FAE ensures quick product repairs and replacement services with a turnaround time of 7 working days.

Two-Year Extended Warranty

ARBOR provides a two-year warranty term for board-level products (CPU card, backplane and PC/104 modulars). System-level products are subject to a 1-year warranty term.

Internet Customer Service

Our on-line technical knowledge center provides interactive trouble-shooting and FAQs, product documentation, manuals, drivers and the latest product BIOS updates at www.arbor.com.tw/supoort.

Rigorous Testing Procedures

We are able to continuously develop and apply new methods to improve our priority commitment - Quality. The confidence in our quality comes from the accomplishment of advanced test procedures as demonstrated in the QC Flow Chart. Each board-level product is scrutinized with extensive quality control checks, from extensive design analysis and design rule checks for manufacturability, to comprehensive testing procedures.

Material Control System

In order to purchase only top quality components in price/ performance, a Component & Supplier Team perform thorough monitoring on suppliers and third party items. Our material control system guarantees a smooth flow of components through incoming inspection, all phases of work-in progress finished goods, inventory and final customer shipment.
