Date : Mar. 21, 2007
ARBOR Technology announced today that it was awarded a Small Business Innovation Research grant from the Dept. of Industrial Technology (DoIT) of Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA). ARBOR's successful bid for the SBIR funding is a credit to our hard work and devotion to research and development. The DoIT launched Taiwan's SBIR promoting program, mostly referred to the SBIR US version, in Nov. 1998 in order to encourage local companies pursuing innovative research of industrial technologies and products. DoIT selected 33 proposals for SBIR promoting program, including ARBOR's Mobile DVR proposal in Feb. 2007. SBIR is a highly competitive program that provides qualified businesses with opportunities to propose innovative ideas for specific research and development and encourages business to explore their technological potential.
The criteria used to select the winning proposals included innovation research, technical merit and feasibility, experience, qualifications and facilities, effectiveness of the work plan, and commercial potential. Receipt of SBIR grant is high recognition of devotions of ARBOR's expert group. Innovation is the life and spirit of the technology. Focus on research and development is ARBOR's long-term strategy. ARBOR dedicates to provide perfect embedded service to fulfill the vision of Digital Enterprise & Digital Life.
