Carrier board is the decisive factor to your project success. If you need the functions different from our standard catering, you may just specify the requirements. ARBOR will implement them with our time-tested embedded design experiences to deliver your unique baseboard.
Reducing Development Risk
Since the carrier board also uses the corresponding COM standard, commercially available cards can be added. In this way you can extend the functionality of off-the-shelf ARBOR Computer-on-Module to match your application requirements. Functional prototypes can now be used in a very early project stage for hardware evaluation. Software development of a custom carrier board that integrates all these additional function takes place in a separate effort. Development time of custom carrier boards is a minimal effort that takes normally around one or two months. Taking Arbor COM module as system core can acquire minimized effort on a new application development.
