Arbor announces HiCORE-i9451 based on the Intel® 945G chipset at Embedded World Nuremburg 2006

(Feb 15, 2006) Arbor Technology Corp. announces its newest full size slot computing board, HiCORE-i9451, based on the Intel® 945G Express chipset platform solutions for embedded market. With the Intel 945G Express chipset, HiCORE-i9451 provides advanced graphic capabilities to multimedia clients and other embedded computing solutions.
HiCORE-i9451 not only supports the Intel® Pentium® 4 processor with HT technology based on a 65nm process. , but also supports other Intel® 90nm technology processors such as Pentium® D, Pentium® 4 and Celeron® D in LGA775 package and FSB up to 1066MHz. HiCore-i9451 offers dual-channel DDR2-533/667 delivering up to 10.7 GB/second of bandwidth and 2 GB memory addressability for faster system responsiveness. The Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator can deliver intense and refreshing visual experience without requiring a separate graphics card. Also, it offers outstanding system performance through high-bandwidth interfaces such as PCI Express* x16 graphics or I/O, PCI Express x1 I/O ports, next-generation Serial ATA (SATA II), and Hi-Speed USB 2.0 connectivity.
With advanced graphic capability and enhanced system performance, HiCORE-i9451 can be used for graphic-intensive, or performance-hungry environments such as image processing, DVR or graphic interface controlling.
